My dad just called. He has been tracking Charlie's travels online, and Charlie has arrived in the United States! His plane from Frankfurt landed in Philadelphia around 4:10 p.m. He is now a U.S. citizen!!!
He gets to Cleveland around 8 p.m. We are having a Paul Smarty with Charlie's grandparents, aunts & uncles, and cousins. I am so excited I could burst!!
We will get pizza and hang out and eat Valentine's Day cupcakes and just WAIT until it's time to go to the airport. The grandparents are going to the airport with us, and everyone else will wait at our house.
The house is all ready! We have the American flag and the Kazakhstan flag. We have pictures and scrapbooks and a video about Semey. We have balloons and gifts and Valentine's Day cards and good wishes that have come from all over the world.
This part is MUCH better than childbirth, no doubt about it.
