If we are really on the timeline they tell us we are on, our Youngling is already born. They say we should travel by the end of the year and that our baby will be around 18 months old. So, that means he would be about 9 months old right now. I hate saying these things out loud as I feel I will jinx myself, but I think them in my head so why not tell you people?
I’m not super-duperly religious, but lately when I feel really stressed about the adoption or about anything at all, I pray for the Youngling. I pray that he is happy and well fed. I pray that he is warm and comfortable. I pray that he loves his caretakers and that they love him in return. I pray that he will love to laugh. I pray that he will be affectionate and kind and strong and brave.

Congrats on getting the HS done! That is such a big step. I hope you can have the Youngling home by next Christmas.

Also - You realize that once you actually have him you will accidentally call him the Youngling for a long time.
It's so neat to think of your baby as already born, isn't it?
It's already March...every day is a step closer :)
