Our apartment is very nice. We were pleasantly surprised. We have a kitchen (with a refrigerator/freezer, gas stove, microwave, and a little table). It is a very stylish kitchen! We had some trouble getting the stove to light, but Pasha fixed it. Pasha fix everything. We have two very small pots and an assortment of pans. We have three bowls and three plates. We have no glasses – only four teacups. We have a set of silverware and a set of knives.

We also have a shower/sink room with a washing machine. The washing machine has a million buttons and a huge knob with all sorts of things on it. Everything is in Cyrillic, so we had a very hard time figuring this out when we arrived. Now, we have the hang of it. The washing machine only holds a few things, so we do laundry every day. Charlie slimes us as he is teething and he also spits up a lot. We go through at least three bibs a day.

This room also has the shower. It is some kind of capsule thing. We have to climb into it (which is hard for me as I am so short)! The water is clean and hot. This is not always the case in Kaz, so we are lucky there.

The toilet is in its own little room. This is where Stan nearly perished. Poor thing.

There are two bedrooms. Ours has a full-size bed, a dresser, and a wardrobe. We have plenty of storage room for our clothes and other stuff.

The other bedroom has a futon and a crib. It also has an ironing board and an iron. We have used this a few times already. This is also the room where we hang our laundry to dry. Our clothes (including jeans) have dried overnight with no problem. Some things are very stiff, but most of the clothes dry nice and soft.

Our living room has a dining table that we use for the computer. We also have a TV (no DVD player) and a very hard, uncomfortable couch. There are tons of outlets everywhere. We have not needed an extension cord.
When you first walk into the apartment, there is a “foyer room” with doors that connect to all of the other rooms (kitchen, master bedroom, spare bedroom, shower room, and toilet room).

Cool, thanks for sharing some pics of the space, was wondering how all things were. Looks very nice.
Very nice apartment! I am impressed with how big it is also.

Wow there is sun on the other side of the world.
AH, that apartment looks familiar. We were there for a month in the summer of '07.
