About 30 minutes ago, the judge declared us his mother and father. Little Charlie, will you ever know how much we love you and how long we waited for you? Mommy was too nervous to cry during her speech, and the same was true with Daddy. But once we knew that our "speaking parts" were over, we both cried with joy. This was the happiest moment of our lives. Now, this afternoon we must say goodbye to you for many weeks. This will be very hard for us, but we will begin to dream of the day that you come home to stay.
